Tom
Witmer is a member of the board of advisors of the Pittsburgh
Symphony Orchestra. For the past several years, he has served
as a catalyst and key participant in the orchestra organizations
Hoshin and related organizational performance programs.
Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his commitment
to quality, business performance excellence, and entrepreneurship.
From 1982 to 1998, Tom served as president and chief executive
officer of Medrad, Inc., a Pittsburgh-based manufacturer of medical
equipment. Prior to that, he served as president and chief executive
officer of Union Carbide Imaging Systems.
Tom continues as a director of various corporate and nonprofit
organizations, including the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh and
four corporations.
