Robert
C. Jones
Since
leaving his positions as vice president of music at the
John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and president
of the National Symphony Orchestra, Bob Jones has consulted
with orchestra organizations on a wide range of subjects. In
his career as an orchestra executive, he previously served
as general manager of the Minnesota Orchestra and as president
of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Prior to becoming an
orchestra manager, Bob was a performing musician and teacher
and also held local and international offices in the American
Federation of Musicians. He has a degree in economics from
Portland State University in Oregon.
